1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mortacc ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Mortacc Solutions Inc. ("Mortacc," "we," "us") reserves the right to update these terms at any time with notice to active subscribers.

2. Service Description

Mortacc is a corporate governance platform for Canadian accounting and law firms. It provides entity management, compliance tracking, document generation, minute book building, billing, and client portal capabilities. Features vary by subscription plan.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You may not share accounts between firms or use the Service for illegal purposes.

4. Subscription & Billing

Plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. All fees are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and non-refundable except as required by law. We provide 3-day free trials for new accounts. You may cancel anytime — access continues until the end of the billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, use the Service to violate any Canadian law, or resell the Service without authorization. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

Mortacc owns all rights to the platform, including software, design, templates, and branding. You retain ownership of your data and uploaded documents. You grant Mortacc a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

Mortacc is provided "as is." We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that generated documents are legally sufficient for every situation. You should have documents reviewed by qualified legal counsel. Mortacc's liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
